The proud "papa"

The other day Dexter's new family to be came for a visit! I really encourage this as it helps the new puppy get used to his/her new family plus it helps them get to know their puppy and bond with him/her.
Dexter settled in his "papa's" arms almost right away and his mama Heather snapped a picture! I know they are going to be wonderful owners to this lovable little guy! Dexter is such a love bug.
The next few weeks are going to be bittersweet for me as these guys will slowly leave the nest. I do know however that they have been well socialized and loved and hopefully will make them well rounded in personality that will go with them their entire lives!
